Poster Design

Fascination: Movies

For this project, I designed a poster series that studied the differences in colors used for different genres of movie posters.  I wanted to show how color sets the tone of a movie and how each genre uses similar color palettes for different movies. I took colors from about 4 different movies. In order of which they are displayed below are horror, fantasy, animation, and sci-fi.

Cherry Pie Recipe

The main objective for this project was to lay out the steps for a recipe without writing out any of the steps. I chose a vintage recipe feel for this poster since cherry pie automatically makes me think of an 1950’s America aesthetic. I illustrated all of the steps and ingredients.

ASU Poster Show Concept Poster

The Arizona State University Poster Show is an event hosted and organized by the Visual Communication Design senior class. During this event posters that are donated are auctioned off to help fund an end of the year exhibit. Because of COVID-19, our poster show was held virtually. Keeping this in mind, I created a concept that revolved around technology and the internet. Since it was virtual, I took the opportunity to animate my poster.
